Sandy is starting to understand our marriage story without her would NOT exist. It truly revolves around her ability to help me experience God’s love through her in those early years of our marriage.
You take away her patience, her love, her admiration, her faith, you would take away the marriage we have today. Yes she went through a lot in those days but because of her standing strong when I couldn’t, we are here today stronger than ever together!
Our marriage ministry is not me but us together! For a while she thought our story was about my addictions but thats just not true, it is about her love for a man that didn’t deserve her love. Its about the grace she showed me when I wasn’t worthy of it.
It’s about a God that she believed would one day heal me and she stood on that promise year after year through those addictions. It is about the faith that she had even though in the worlds eyes it should have been over.
It’s about a faith she had back then that God brought us together for a purpose.
Because of her, we live a marriage like we both have dreamed of. because she allowed God to use her in a way that made me experience God’s love, his pure love through her, we are here today to tell about it.
We can’t just talk about how God healed my addictions because in all honesty, she set the environment on the home front for him to work on my heart.
I know deep down you take her part out, I may not be alive today. God healed my heart through Sandy and all I can say is God is good! He knew what he was doing when he brought her into my life.
Some people tell me that my marriage is a God to me. They are close to right but I know that God is first but my amazing wife is right there just below God. Nothing or noone comes before her with the exception of God! For us it’s the only way to have that passion-filled marriage.
